Joel R.

Joel recently graduated as an E-3 from Basic Training in the U.S. Air Force. (Sorry that I don't have a photo of him in uniform, so I posted his wedding photo). He is now attending Tech School at Keesler AFB. Julie attended his graduation in San Antonio and she reports that Joel is happy and has adjusted well to military life.

Brittany An will graduate summa cum laude from Neenah High School on June 4, 2010. She has been in the National Honor Society, Vintage Show Choir, Launch (a mentoring program), Teen Court (a program to help kids who get in trouble), the Student Leadership Team for the youth at church, and a teacher of First Grade at church. Read about another activity in which Brittany was active at See You at the Pole. She also works at Dairy Queen and is a shut down manager. She will be attending Cedarville University in Ohio in the fall and plans to get her BSN in Nursing.

Samantha

Samantha will graduate from the 8th grade at Shattuck Middle School in June, 2010. She is involved in cross country, track, band, jazz band and drama. At the end of this month she will be playing the part of Miss Flannery in "Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr." Last year she was Small Alice in "Alice in Wonderland." Recently she was one of nine in her class who was asked to participate in a leadership opportunity called "Pass the Baton." It is an activity that seeks to recognize adults in the Neenah Community that have contributed to making Neenah a great place for our youth. Samantha also is a youth worker two times a month in First Grade Sunday School and plays the key board and sings for the youth Praise Band. She also sings weekly with the band in her youth group, C-Team. She will be attending Neenah High School next year.
